GVEC Annual Meeting is Held

This year’s GVEC Annual Meeting was held June 24 at the Gonzales High School Special Events Center. Either present or by proxy, 4,844 GVEC members were represented at the meeting.  Members began arriving at 5:30 p.m. to register. While waiting for the business meeting to start, they enjoyed refreshments and chili dogs, and listened to country western music performed by Ken Brothers of West Point. Members were also able to browse GVEC subsidiary exhibit booths.  At 7:00 p.m., Board President Lewis Borgfeld called the business meeting to order.
