GVEC Celebrates the Grand Opening of Its New Western
Operations Center

The Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative (GVEC)
will hold a Grand Opening celebration this Thursday
for their new Western Operations Center located in
Seguin, serving primarily Guadalupe and Wilson
Counties. Community business leaders, county and
city officials, school board members and other
government representatives from the area will attend
the celebration.

inclement weather, The Guadalupe Valley Electric
Cooperative (GVEC) is changing the location of the
groundbreaking ceremony for its Western Operations
Center to the current Seguin Warehouse location at
1400 W. Kingsbury Street in Seguin.

GVEC to Break Ground on Its New Western Operations
Center

The Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative (GVEC) is
breaking ground on its new Western Operations Center
on Tues., January 19 at 10 a.m. at the site of the
new Center, located on a Cooperative-owned 36-acre
tract at the northwest corner of IH-10 and Nickerson
Farms Road in Guadalupe County. Construction is
scheduled to finish early 2011.

West in Guadalupe County. Community business

GVEC Breaks Ground for Its New Western
Operations Center

The
Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative (GVEC)
took the next major step in
its long-range facilities plan to keep pace with
its growing membership by breaking ground on its new
Western Operations Center in Seguin. The
groundbreaking was held at the current Seguin Warehouse
Operations Center on 1400 W. Kingsbury in Seguin
due to recent muddy conditions at the new Western
Operations Center site at IH-10 and Nickerson
Farms Road in Seguin. The facility is scheduled for

GVEC to Construct a New Western
Operations Center

The Guadalupe Valley Electric
Cooperative (GVEC) recently announced plans to
move forward with the construction of a new
Western Operations Center to be located on a
Cooperative-owned 36-acre tract at the northwest
corner of IH-10 and Nickerson Farms Road in
Guadalupe County. The Cooperative plans to break
ground as early as mid-December. Construction of
the new facility is expected to take
approximately 14 months to complete.
